Cudmore Creek Park

Located near the historic course of Cudmore Creek the land for this brand new park was purchased in response to strong advocacy from local community along with the nearby Manor Community Green - one park to provide passive recreation, and the other active. Public consultation revealed an interest in natural play elements that would set the park apart from nearby playgrounds.

The playground design accommodates a range of age groups: a larger climbing structure for older children, and a sand play area with a hill slide and buried "fossils" for toddlers. In addition all horticultural planting in the park is composed of native plants, to complement the adjacent native plant garden at the Manor Road United Church.
